Our imagination is something we are born with. Our senses play an important role in imagination. Using our senses this way can be important aspect in our recovery. It can help us to achieve our aims.
The trouble is that sometimes we lose our ability through lack of practice. Our imagination is like our muscles in our body. If we do not make full and regular use of it, it will become weak and flabby. |

This week's tip is action day so let’s start with the action, without action you will not have the result you like. Without action you will not have recovery, so lets start to see the body of yours differently, it is the only thing you have from the day you are born to the day you will leave this beautiful place called Earth, so let look after it, let’s think differently about it, let’s nourish it.

Dining is one of the pleasures people with Eating Distress deprive themselves off. We can always focus on it – that is hard – or I can do it, important is to be willing to start. You could invite a friend, who understand and you could prepare something which will be easier in your stage of recovery like today’s recipe. Enjoy the company, focus on your friend and instead listening to the condition, listen to some nice music and what interesting your friend has to say.

For people with eating distress the body seems like an obstacle to be overcome. We need to learn to explore a new relationship with our bodies. Our preoccupation with our appearance goes much deeper than the outer image. The body is a basic part of who we are, and it affects the choices and psychological issues we pursue.
